PortraitGareth Calway taught in secondary schools for 27 years, the last seven as a Head of English and Media. He is a series editor for Collins Education and also writes educational resources and articles for Hodder Education, OUP, The TES, TES Cymru, SecEd and NATE magazines. He is NATE consultant in Creative Writing, Drama and A/AEA level English and an A level examiner for the Welsh Joint Education Committee. He is a novelist, poet and playwright and a writer in primary and secondary schools. He is also Poet in Residence for Bristol City Football Club. This is his second teaching resource for Classical Comics, the first was Classical Comics Teaching Resource: Jane Eyre.
