A Distinguished Fellow of the Hudson Institute in Washington, D.C., and the Tad and Diane Taube Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Bork served as the United States Solicitor General from 1973 to 1977 and as Circuit Judge of the U. S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit from 1982 to 1988.
